Remote Servers - Manage configurations

Remote Servers' Manage configurations tool allows the user to perform bulk operations on FusionLayer DHCP and FusionLayer DNS Servers. When making your server and operation type selections, you can go back by clicking the "Previous" button and change your selections.

Step 1: Selecting servers

First select the server type by clicking on it's label on the menu labeled "Server type". When the servers have been loaded select the servers you wish to perform bulk operations on and click the "Next" button. You can select individual servers by ticking their respective checkboxes, or you can select all of them by ticking the checbox located in the server table header next to the "Server name" heading.

Please note: FusionLayer DHCP failover secondaries won't be shown in the Select Servers list because the changes will be propagated via primary failover peers.

Step 2: Selecting operation

The next step is to select the operation for the selected servers, which are displayed on top of the operation list. The available operation choices presented in the list are dependent on the server types selected in Step 1, and their versions.

All available operations for FusionLayer DHCP Servers are:

  • Add host
  • Add subnet
  • Delete host
  • Delete subnet

All available operations for FusionLayer DNS Servers are:

  • Add ACL
  • Add zone
  • Delete ACL

Step 3: Operation details

Operation details allows user to specify parameters for the selected operation. Servers selected for the operation are displayed on top of the operation details list. When the "Next" button on this page is clicked the parameters will be validated. If the validation does not find any errors on the parameters, the user is taken to Step 4: Confirmation.
