NameSurfer 7.6.4.1

A delegated subdomain is a domain that is administrated separately from its parent. It has its own set of authoritative name servers, usually different from that of the parent.

In DNSSEC signed zones, the NS records in the delegation point of the parent zone may also be accompanied by DS records that can be used to verify validity of DNSKEY records of the delegated zone.

When adding or editing NS records on a zone that is on a subdomain of another locally hosted zone, the delegation point can be created automatically if NameSurfer is allowed to synchronize the delegation at parent zone . At the same time, if there are nodes belonging to the subdomain in the parent zone, these nodes will be automatically transferred to the zone containing the subdomain data.
