NameSurfer 7.6.4.1

An address block contains a set of hosts, not blocks nested inside it. The IP address space is fully configured to the system when it has only address blocks and delegated blocks as branches of its block trees. Addresses are shown in IP address management only if there is an address block present. The third type of block is divisible block.

A reverse zone that corresponds with the address block can be created by clicking the "Create reverse zone" button in the DNS tab. Already existing corresponding reverse zones are listed in the tab contents. Clicking the Create reverse zone button redirects the user to "Add new zone" page where reversed IP address of the block with the bitmask and trailing ".in-addr.arpa" is suggested to be the name of the zone. The name can be edited and the rest of the zone data filled in the form fields. Pressing "OK" button completes the process and stores the new zone in the database.
