The list of available permanent fields and selectable fields is defined in the IPAM.properties file in NameSurfer's configuration directory and can only be modified by a system administrator.

There are five separate lists of permanent information fields defined in the IPAM.properties configuration file, which are for: all blocks in general, delegated blocks, root blocks, hosts and owners. Additionally, some of these fields may be separately configured as meta information, which means they will not be shown as normal information fields in the user interface. By default, such meta fields are defined for default DNS zone and DHCP server binding of a block.

Selectable information fields are also permanent, and they are separately defined in two configuration entries - one for blocks and one for hosts. Additionally, selectable fields must have a listing of possible values defined in the configuration.
