NameSurfer 7.6.4.1


You can use this tool to manage slave zone on multiple servers with single action.

Note! The remote secondaries containing views are recognized in this FusionLayer NameSurfer version, but they cannot be edited (ie. managed) using this tool. You will see checkbox disabled for these servers. Adding and removing zones for these servers can be done using in the remote server configuration editor.

Usage procedure

  1. Enter the zone name which you want to manage and click on Find
  2. Select the remote secondaries where you want to apply the updating operation
  3. Select desired operation type
  4. Click on Update

Available operation types

  • Add/update using server specific default Master IP and Port
    • Uses Master IP and Port values that are specific to each remote secondary. These values can be changes in Server details for each secondary
  • Add/update using master IP
    • User must enter values which will be used as Master IP and Port
    • Using second input field, user can enter multiple comma-separated Master IP / Port values (For example: 192.168.0.10:8054,10.75.100.11:53)
  • Remove slave zone from selected servers
    • Removes zone from selected remote secondaries
