NameSurfer 7.6.4.1

To make the building of the configuration files easier, NameSurfer provides you with the most commonly used declarations the server accepts. They are grouped in three categories. We suggest that you choose options from the first, basic group only, unless you specifically need some other option. The declarations in the advanced category are usually used only in very special network setups.

Clicking the name of the declaration will show the arguments that particular declaration needs. Filling these in and pressing "OK" will take you back to the main page.

If the declaration can be put to a predefined order in the final configuration file, an additional field labeled 'Statement order' will be shown below the actual declaration data. If no ordering preference is set, and the value is 0, this declaration does not have a predefined ordering preference, and it will be placed after any declarations of the same type on the same level of the configuration file that do have an ordering preference. If two statements have the same ordering preference, the ordering between the two may change but both will be placed before any unordered statements or statements with higher ordering preference number in the final configuration file.

At the bottom of the page there is an input field where you can enter parameters that are not on the list. Press enter to add the declaration. Please use this finction with care.
