IP Address Management module's
Free subnet report tool can be used to find free normal and subnet
blocks within the given block range.
The following parameters can be set for each report query:
- Address: Type an IP address to be searched for. You may use wildcards, for example 192.* will show every address and/or block that begins with 192.
- Bitmask: The bitmask to be searched. Again, wildcard can be used. The system accepts bitmasks only in short format, e.g. 24.
- IP type: Select either IPv4 or IPv6
- Block Owner: The owner of the addresses to be searched for.
- Size effect: Specified what size of blocks are to be reported in relation to the value shown in Bitmask. Default value is exact.
- Private: Defines whether private IP blocks are displayed or not.
- Maximum free blocks to list: Limits the amount of the free addresses displayed in the report. Default value is 1024.
