NameSurfer 7.6.4.1


HTXT (Hidden TXT) records are similar to TXT records, except that HTXT records are purely internal to NameSurfer and are never included in answers to DNS queries or zone transfers. This makes them more suitable than ordinary TXT records for storing confidential information.

The support for HTXT records is a NameSurfer extension. HTXT records are not part of the DNS standards.
