Introduction

At user accounts/groups update tools page, you have two sections available:

  • Search Criteria
    The target of operation is defined by this information

  • Parameter Data
    The actual data to be added/removed/updated (does not apply to remove users/groups)

Both sections MUST BE FILLED with some data, the default is a wildcard * (asterisk) for the search Search Criteria.

Both sections also allow multiple parameter type and value pairs to be used in multiple ways (AND,OR,NOR). First select a parameter type, fill out the parameter value (pattern) field and click Add New button and a new empty parameter type/value pair appears. If you wish to remove the type/value pairs from either Search criteria or data sections, just click Remove button located next to a desired type/value pair and it will be removed.

Search pattern allows you to enter multiple values also to one input field separated by a comma, for example: George, John.

This type of input MUST be used with some fields that have multiple values such as RR, zone, showzone, showindex, r_record, r_zone etc.

If you just want to find group(s) that match zone "example.com" regardless what other zones they match, just enter *example.com* to the R_ZONE parameter.



Parameter types and values

Parameter type drop-down menu consists of all available user/group parameters identified by their database name.

In order to help using them, here's a list of parameters and their possible values:

User:

FIRSTNAME Users first name
LASTNAME Users last name
INFORMATION Descriptive information about a user
U_STATUS Status of the user. Values are: disabled/enabled
GROUPS Values are existing group names (admingroup etc.)
SHOWZONE Values are a list of RRs to be shown in zone listings: (A, HINFO, TXT, etc.)
SHOWINDEX Values are a list of RRs to be shown in index listings: (TXT, HTXT, etc.)
SHOWNEWHOST Values are entry fields to display for new hosts: (A, HINFO, TXT, etc.)
MYHOST Users host template, a hostname must be entered here.
MYZONE Users zone template, a zonename must be entered here.

Group:

DESCRIPTION Informative description of the group
G_STATUS Status of the group. Values are: disabled/enabled
R_RECORD RR Restriction, list of permitted RRs for this group.
R_ZONE Zone restriction, list of permitted zones for this group.
R_RANGE IPv4 address range for this group, entered as: 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255
R_ALLOC Allocate IP addresses from range(s), entered as: 10.10.20.30-10.10.20.255
R_AAAARANGE IPv6 address range, entered as: 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0-f:f:f:f:f:f:f:f
R_REVZONE Reverse zone restriction, list of permitted reversezones for this group.
R_VIEW View restriction for this group.
R_NAME Node name restriction for this zone.
R_A6PREF Allow A6 prefix, enter as A6 address prefix: (dead:beef:)
HTTPNET Allow WWW access only from IP address range(s), enter as: 10.10.10.10-10.10.10.20
GROUP Access to group information, value is either: No, View or Mofify
ZONE Access to zone/host information, value is either: No, View or Mofify
USER Access to user information, value is either: No, View or Mofify
KEY Access to key information, value is either: No, View or Mofify
IPAM Access to IPAM information, value is either: No, View or Mofify
REMCONF Access to remconf information, value is either: No, View or Mofify

After filling out the desired fields for search criteria and parameter data click Continue button.



Search results

The results of your previously made selection appear here. If you are contended with the results, plase confirm the change to be made by Submit the changes button.

If you need to modify the list, click Back to previous form button and alter the search criteria or parameter data.
